17. If you are going for a minimal look, stick with this natural layout. Simple greens and beautiful red bows, tie together this simple space and yet still makes a bold statement.

18.If you would like to mix it up from the typical swags of greenery trailing down the banister, why not try out these greenery bunches. Natural birch branches, red twig dogwood will add in some colour along with a small bow and ornaments. Use thin florist’s wire to lash them to the banister and there you have it a new style for a traditional Christmas decor.

19. Do you have a bunch of old or new Christmas cards and you have no idea what to do with them? Why not combine them into your Christmas decor. Add a line of string under a simple row of greenery and attach the cards with simple clothes pins. This look will not only change every year but it will show your friends and family that you appreciate the time they took to wish you Happy Holidays.

20. Finally another simple decor look, simply tie wreaths with whatever colour of ribbon you choose. To add a traditional look to this use green, red, gold or silver ribbon to attach them. If you want a more modern and bold look try using blue, purple or a lime green colour.

Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for part five of seven days of Christmas. We will be tackling the dinner table layout, how to fit everyone in but still incorporate a little bit of decor!
